Will Eknath Shinde be able to fulfill the promise given to the MLAs?
Let us tell you, after the rebellion against Uddhav Thackeray, this election is no less than a litmus test for Eknath Shinde. Lok Sabha elections Seven MPs of Eknath Shinde have been elected. However, when Eknath Shinde went to the Assembly for the first time after the rebellion, he had given a word to his MLAs that he would win back 40-40 MLAs, otherwise they would go to farming. Now it remains to be seen whether he can keep this promise?

Eknath Shinde fielded 80 candidates
It is noteworthy that this election is not so easy for Eknath Shinde. Along with the fight between MVA vs NDA, there is also competition with MNS. The seat sharing formula of both MVA and Mahayuti has not been decided yet. Although, Eknath Shinde Shiv Sena has got to field candidates on 80 seats. Now as per the promise, they should win 40 out of these 80 seats which is a big challenge.

Seat sharing still not final
There may be one day left for nominations, but there are some seats in both Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi alliances where the names of the candidates have not been formally announced. Now it is expected that the candidates for the remaining seats will be announced by late night of Monday (28 October). It is believed that the reason why all 288 candidates have not been finalized so far could be the lack of coordination among the alliance partners. At the same time, it can also be said that as a strategy to avoid rebels, the last minute is being waited for the announcement of the candidates.
